BiOGRAPHY
Andrew Ward aka HKB FiNN is a Writer, Photographer & Film Director from London, UK. He was born in Malta, educated in Jamaica & came to the UK in the early 1980’s.
He is a film studies graduate from the University of East London. Since 1997, he has self funded the making of 8 short films, 2 feature films & directed several mixed media projects in collaboration with poet Tolu Agbelusi, French band Le Spark, classical ensemble NOK Quartet & directed fashion films for Jade Allen of London, as well as directing documentaries for the University of East London, Autograph ABP & the Horniman Museum.
HKB FiNN loves to explore the stories of marginalised communities & bring attention to the lives of ordinary people otherwise ignored by mainstream film making.
His work often blurs the lines between the real & the surreal & touches on dreams, the nature of love & African spirituality.
